Infinitely Fluid
I noticed a cloud,
true to its nature,
True to the forces
that give it shape ---
Moved by the unseen currents,
always changing, forever evolving,
from what was, to what is,
True to its nature ---
The unseen currents dive,
driven by the winds,
the experience of the moment
What is uncovered is
now to be re-discovered ---
A floating bird rises
exploring the possibilities,
The hint of flavors
to the curves it glides ---

....... Its More Than This......
You're a mare that leaves scent caught on a stallions lips,
With cascading hair that sways as you move your hips,
I first could hear when your call filled the air,
In the wilderness my eyes set on the one none could compare ---
I'm compelled to touch your hillside slopes,
And ride thru secret canyons over some far off hill -
I stroke your mane as I say things only you are to hear,
Whispering your name as you hold me with your hips ---
Your legs pumping over the terrain in rhythms,
With music, floating, as one we are breathing ---
The air is crisp, thick with sweat,
And I'll bathe you as this moment were forever ------

So Some Say
Once you give your name, things are gonna change,
They'll look you over once or twice and see how you fit their trend...
Once you give your name, theres always things to explain,
Wondering what to tell, and how far you have to pretend ---
Once you give your name its a short time till you're claimed,
Others will count their chips, waiting for their new friend ---
Once you give your name, the parking will re-arrange,
Trying to dress you to them, and how they know you well...
Once you give your name, phone calls will be made,
Plans will be exchanged, notes will be sent...
Once you give your name, your rug will remember stains,
Bridges will feel the strain, only some will stay ...
Once you give your name, swirling inside their brains,
Theres push and pull, positions to defend...
Once you give your name, you'll see who remains,
Over the long haul, only time will tell...
Once you give your name, things are gonna change,
They'll look you over once or twice, and see how you fit their trend...

MISSING PIECES
What began is now continued intervals,
Calender is full, but somethings missing,
The great divide where a heart should be,
Millions of pieces, but somethings not fitting...
I looked left, and right, I looked up, and down,
I looked back, and forth, there was no room for me,
Its getting later, and I don't see you in sight,
I've got a feeling of something missing...
They forget where they're from, when it was realized,
he blood wills to run dry, when the heart is neglected,
Theres the great divide that keeps us apart,
Millions of pieces, waiting, to be connected...

PENUMBRA
In total silence the winds rise,
As seen by the forms that take shape -
As they grow in volume, the forces
that are the winds can be felt ---
From the depths of noise are the fields of words,
Waiting to have meaning - where each word
changes the interpretation of its precedings,
Can you follow, or take the lead ---
Sometimes watching, sometimes seen,
Sometimes listening, sometimes heard,
Sometimes growing, sometimes melting,
Sometimes driving, sometimes driven,
by the hum of the universe...
The silence speaks for itself......
From the depths come the blends that flavor the tones,
Beyond the shape, beyond the sounds,
Beyond the touch, beyond the words, from the depths ------
Between the shade and the light--- I whisper to my darling,
Get past whats lost, I'll help you find ------

SOFT PARTS
Soft parts in hard places, swayed by the surrounding world,
What seems to be the symptom looks like a problem,
But the clue to the cause isn't always connected
to the injury you do yourself to block the pain ---
Bring to mind, for consideration, assault on the body,
the many little deaths that have added up to protect the soft parts,
Listened to everyone else for too long, lived by others rules,
Believed everyone else & forgotten who you are ---
Obstacles are thrown, and intents were mistaken,
Love doesn't need defenses or stays where its not asked ---
I do not want what is not freely given,
Which is the same as what you're not ready to recieve ---
So hard to build up, so easy to destroy,
Hard around the edges, a suggestion to the soft parts,
Where action and awareness meet flows the connection,
Love is real, it doesn't die, only goes underground ------

THE SECRET YOU
Writing letters that no one will know,
Confessions born in the dark,
Your passion that knows no limits
Have built a wall to protect your heart,
The shifting sands birthing secret ships,
Hearing voices that come and go ------
The dogs that warn of intruders,
The songs that sing in private,
The letters that are written and never sent,
The cat that stalks the night air,
The hips, the lips that speak of closeness,
Around your tower where no one can find ------
Into silence goes my desert rose,
With baggage of the heart when its all too close,
Writing thoughts in a notebook that isn't meant to be seen,
Shredding paper thats meant to be hidden,
Theres life in the body enough to satisfy a soul,
Hearing voices that come and go ------------------

AT ANY GIVEN MOMENT
In a town where everyones an actor
pretending to be something they're not ---
Wear the costume and the part plays itself,
prooving their importance by what they've got ---
In a world of wannabees,
covering up their faces of an imposters label ---
If you wanne be something
you start by bringing something to the table ---
The difference is a matter of degrees,
the difference depends how you look at it ---
If theres soemthing to be seen,
Its in the way you percieve it ---
At any given moment, when the walls all fall,
the fiction thats been living, speaks a false face,
When you get around to it, all the proof you need,
ask the right answers, and you'll get the question right ---
In a moments notice, when you wake up from your sleep,
When you run into your own pressure, and the curtains move aside,
The outsider steps in the circle, with nothing attached,
Outside of time, as its somewhat known ------

GUIDE ME IN
I remember every ride that got me here,
Some I remember better than others,
The strength I have keeps me on track,
And what I have for you is what I'm giving back ------
I bring to surface, the healing as an invitation,
I follow the light that is my guide,
In ungaurded moments I see the preparation,
As close as is far, as narrow as is wide ------
As we grow, I want to be here for you,
Who could ever re-pay what has been revealed ---
If you're coming thru, my gift to you is the hands that hold,
Give them my name, and ask for wild peace ------

AS CLOSE, AS IS FAR
As air needs to breath
So does of what needs to be told ---
Speaking of time and a place
Though it belongs not to certain shelves,
The dew drops shake at light of day,
Swift, as is afar, is the scent,
Its unspoken --- but the meaning is loud and clear,
Togetherness is a sign, love needs to keep on flowing ---
As are all of the same breed,
The arms that are born to hold,
From the choir, not just any face,
In flight yet not quite of flesh & bone ---
Of anchors, of hearts aweigh,
More than a fair weather friend,
Its unspoken, but the meaning is loud and clear,
There is the tie that binds
Of sleep, of awake, and of growing ......

PLACEBO AFFECT
I don't know where to put my finger,
I don't know how to turn on the lights,
I write songs that never get sung,
I write songs that never get done ---
Mext week, the day before Tuesday,
or is it Thursday --
Left here driving kind of fast,
or was it kind of slow --
Where some would say what made this destination
others would say they didn't think so ------
Things don't taste like they used to,
I feel so much, yet it feels the same,
I could say to you what you want to hear,
I could play with you the same kind of game ------

OBJECTS IN MOTION
Theres spirit of the notion, sparks flying,
Gliding periphial vision, free from confine,
Moving away from, moving toward, in continuem ---
In planetary motions, of travelers, wanderers, companions,
You're never gonna have to ask me to leave,
Cause I'm never gonna ask to stay ---
Theres objects in motion, a chance and a choice going by,
Expansion, contraction, impulses changing when they collide,
Theres creation waiting for something to blow ------

NUMBERS
If you line up all the number of times the sun rises
to cover the seasons, the heart beats of a river,
If all the numbers that add up to the moment here,
In the great tree of life they add up to a sliver ------
We got computers but we forget pen & paper,
We got systems that eat souls and later rape us,
Theres discrepency between the world of advertising,
And the dimensions as it truly functions,
Theres been surveys to proove any point of view,
Trying to sell me things I don't need ------
Words carry, adds up to numbers that can also take away,
We meet ourselves in many disguises, a sweet tooth that needs to be fed,
Every side has their numbers, theres still the measure of a person not found in others,
All the numbers don't add up to the one I look for the most...------...

SECRET GARDENS
The sun was shining thru your dress as you stood
In the entrance to the hide-away ---
I rendered myself invisible, though still there,
As the warmth flushed down the neck for your stay ---
Theres the fog kissing you all over,
In the moments when half awoke,
Ask Erotica and what she saw ther
When nobody was marking down notes ---
When the feet get dirty & the head in a cloud,
The hands want some business instead of just hanging around,
So for the while, tilt your head back, in the secret gardens,
Everything thats calling you is from inside ------
Would you touch your self in abandon,
Like lightning, who have thoughts of letting go,
Would you let them get to touch you,
Nobody else has got to know ---
The sun was shining thru your dress as you stood,
In the entrance to the prelude of the hide-away ------

THE QUEENS BALONY PONY
I hear pots and pans moving
I can smell preparations of a meal,
The candles are waiting to be lit,
Anticipations making a new deal,
By thesweat growing on your upper lip,
Waiting for your donkey to be calling...---
The bed is fully covered,
Hey mister, someones going to take your daughter,
And do whats been done quite a few times before,
The previous parctice was a prelude to this show,
A car door slams, the dogs are barking,
Announcing the arrival of the queens balony pony ---
The queen had a good year,
Except for a few minor things, it was hassle free,
When she makes the scene, roll out the carpet,
Set up the trampoline for the person used to style,
When she wants to go for a ride, she knows who to see,
I have to be ready, when she points to me ------

JOSEPHINE
She presses flowers, she presses her jeans,
she's pressing her legs, and now she's pressing my skin ---
Ah, terrestrial Josephine......
Somebody had to tell you, you're quite the woman, and
You've met a man who wants to go down on you ---
Josephine is gonna tell me about love,
with the eyes that give a hint,
of the possibilities of the moment...
The sperm flows thru Josephine
into oblivion, into the ceiling,
as her tongue searches the air
before settling on her lips......
She can feel the timber, the staff of life
between her thighs, and later when she stands
It runs down her leg......
Josephine walks like she's done it all
And she leaves like in the moment she arrived ------

I JUST HAPPENED TO BE THERE
I just happened to be there when you closed the door,
I just happened to be there when you ignored the phone,
I happened to be there when you lay parallel to the floor,
I happened to be ther when you didn't want to be alone ------
I just happened to be there when you liked my smile,
I happened to be there when you showed me your style,
I just happened to be there when you unbuttoned my shirt,
I happened to be there when you wanted to do more than flirt ---
I happened to be there when you wanted to blow the brains out of my head,
I just happened to be there when you said I was the one,
I happened to be there when I awoke in your bed,
I just happened to be there with the morning sun ------
I just happened to be there when you said I was the best,
I just happened to be there when you guided me inside your legs,
I just happened to be there when you kissed me at the door,
I just happened to be there when I never heard from you no more ------

THE WOOD NYMPH & HER STALLION
Ayesha clad in sky, with her arms up high,
like she was crossing a finish line ---
She moves like a lioness in her prime,
running in between the trees ---
In the waters that we swam near the eucalyptus trees,
where she bathes in fog and running streams ---
Ayesha's rolling in the hammock, ankles over the sides,
near the stream where she washes her hair ---
The heat was dancing on her legs
like the flames of the branch in the fire ---
She thought it could have been a seesaw
Or my october dragon, or a tongue moving, lashing ---
She climbs up a pole but never seemed to reach the top,
Ayesha talks to animals like they're supposed to understand her ---
Hey stallion, why don't you take me for a ride,
I can match you stride for stride ---
Ayesha lowers herself onto her stallion
gripping with her thighs, urging with her hands ---
She gives of herself so generously,
Carressing and surging --- take it to the top ---
Moving like a lion in her pride,
She climbs to the top & arches her back ---
Ayesha, clad in sky , with her arms up high,
like she was crossing a finish line ------

THE OCEAN IN YOUR EYES
I wanted to say a few words,
and the words became a sprinkle,
and then a rain, and a shower,
that can become a flood in some areas ---
I thought of a dream, tip tap thru an
area with a work of art, that I want to touch,
and explore the textures...The emotions of colors
are the drops of rain...The magnificent work
of art is you... Sometimes best seen from a distance
to take in the moment that I'd like to hold,
though I felt the touches that in their moments
are all the forevers we may have ------
And the drops of rain that make their
way to the ocean, I see the ocean in your eyes,
when I look further I see the depths,
and the currents which we ride ---------

BOARDINGHOUSE BLUES
When company comes over
I'll lend you my robe,
and after everyone leaves I won't ask you to go ---
You're the kind of person who isn't too tough to please ---
You're the kind of person who gives me an excuse
to wash my sheets ---
I didn't invite you over to wash dishes or clean my stove,
I'll do my own chores when I'm all alone ---
Lets make use of the time
It fits like hand in glove,
You remind me of the oceans roar
when I look down from above ---
I'm thinking of you adjusting the water for your bath,
I think of reaching for you
without having to ask ---
I'm thinking of you & how you do your hair ---
But most of all I think of you
with nothing to wear ------

JOHN LIVED HERE
( John was a tabby cat)
John lived here, a place chosen to stay,
Here he had a bed, here was his domain,
Though we moved from town to town,
Even when you couldn't see him,
John was always around ---
Thru the body I sense the earth,
Eyes on the bottom of the feet, I go forth,
Activities lessons generate a light,
More than a teacher, John was a guide...
Now in spirit and beyond a breath,
Beyond attachment to life or death,
John still lives here, I see him around you,
Another breeze carresses, John is my friend too ------

THE WORLD IN A PUDDLE
As I left the place of my birth
to see the impressions of the earth,
I took the book of life, pages to fill,
I took to wandering the earth ---
Come on Bucky, we're off to sea,
If the winds die, grab an oar,
Nobodies ever done suicide by sticking their head in a toilet,
You're gonna be too busy trying to breath ---
Theres one way out of this town,
But each day I find a different way,
Some days when it seems like theres nothing,
Theres something that tells me to look again ---
Today I think of all the roads that led me here,
The beds I've been in, places I've eaten,
The money thats been gathered finds ways to be spent,
I've seen many rooms, sometimes a tent ---
The sun burns its shadow across this land,
Lending itself to the phases of the moon,
I'm not the same person I was yesterday,
In between clouds I look up, and its still the same constant moon ---

A HEART IN A HOLE
I fell into a hole where the heart should be,
Deeper I went for the paradise I seek ---
Till I couldn't see out of where I was,
Till it all fell in at the place I had dug ---
As every seed has the potential to be an orchard,
As every rock is the one that could be gold ---
I searched the faces of strangers,
Looking for the fit of a heart and a hole ---
Everything I touched I thought I would have,
Would disappear in illusions at the start ---
Till I found myself deeper than deep,
In a transparent hole of the listening heart ---
One day I called to someone who wasn't there,
Who left because of the need to have air ---
In the terrible noise of walls crashing around,
I knew I didn't want to die with my heart in a hole ---
Its not so much what we have,
As it is in allowing to let go ---
That fills the cup that feeds
The heart on its way out of the hole ---
Opening the heart allows a new way to see,
To open the gates that set me free ---
In the silence I heard a beautiful tone,
To fit the key to unlock the soul ------

NEEDS TO FLY
I said goodby at the door
and decided to call the world home,
I took coal from the sun,
I took the blue from the skies,
Before my days on earth are through,
Theres some things I'd still like to do,
Another person to make contact,
Theres some more horses to ride true ---
I closed my eyes to follow a vision,
with my instinct to guide where I go,
To rise above the latitudes,
To be a bird that is born to fly ---
I take in all thoughts, letting them pass,
Wrapped in a blanket with the darkness,
I am kept warm by the presence of my fire,
Theres nowhere else I have to be ---
